Literacy in Action: Building Readers, Building Futures

We are proud to share that our team distributed 5 boxes of educational books to local children in our community. Reading at a young age helps children build language, thinking, and social-emotional skills that support long-term academic success and confidence. By placing high-quality books directly into kids' hands, we are helping families create literacy-rich homes and encouraging a lifelong love of learning.

Event Impact:

• Local children received new, age-appropriate books they can read, share, and keep, supporting stronger vocabulary, imagination, and communication skills.

• The event helped caregivers and families see reading as a simple, everyday way to bond with children and support their education.

Our Literacy Commitment:

• This book distribution is the first of many literacy-focused events Southern Throttle Charities will host for children in our area.

• Going forward, we will continue partnering with local organizations, schools, and families to provide books, reading opportunities, and resources that make reading fun and accessible for every child.
