On March 21, 2026, Southern Throttle Charities was proud to serve the Barron Park community by donating approximately 50 books to local residents. Reading at a young age helps children build language, thinking, and social-emotional skills that support long-term academic success and confidence. By placing high-quality books directly into kids' hands, we are helping families create literacy-rich homes and encouraging a lifelong love of learning.
Event Impact:
• Approximately 50 books were donated to the Labelle, FL community, providing children with age-appropriate books they can read, share, and keep — supporting stronger vocabulary, imagination, and communication skills.
• The event helped caregivers and families see reading as a simple, everyday way to bond with children and support their education.
• By investing in literacy, our nonprofit is helping address learning gaps that often begin in early childhood and can affect future opportunities.
Our Literacy Commitment:
• This book donation at Barron Park is part of our ongoing literacy-focused mission that Southern Throttle Charities will continue to build throughout our community.
• Going forward, we will continue partnering with local organizations, schools, and families to provide books, reading opportunities, and resources that make reading fun and accessible for every child.
• Our goal is to build a stronger, more informed community where every child has the tools to read, dream, and succeed.
