We are thrilled to have co-hosted the 1st Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat in partnership with The Children's Garden of Labelle. This inaugural community event brought together families, volunteers, and local supporters to create a safe, fun Halloween experience for children in our area.
Event Highlights:
On Halloween evening, we transformed the parking lot at The Children's Garden of Labelle into a festive celebration where children could safely trick-or-treat from decorated vehicle trunks. The event featured creatively decorated cars, Halloween music, and a welcoming atmosphere for families.
Our Impact:
Southern Throttle Charities provided candy to over 100 children who attended the event. Seeing the excitement on children's faces as they collected treats in their costumes reminded us why community events like this are so important.
Community Partnership:
By partnering with The Children's Garden of Labelle, we were able to:
• Create a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating
• Bring the community together in celebration
• Provide a memorable Halloween experience for local families
• Strengthen connections between our nonprofit and the educational institutions we support
Looking Forward:
The success of our 1st Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat has inspired us to make this an annual tradition. We're already looking forward to next year's event and finding new ways to serve and celebrate with our community.
