Southern Throttle Charities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in August 2025 to support children and families in need throughout SWFL and our surrounding communities. Through community partnerships and local events, the organization focuses on meeting basic needs and creating opportunities for kids to thrive.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower children and families in SWFL through literacy initiatives, educational resources, and essential material support. We break down barriers to learning by providing books, school supplies, clothing, and basic necessities while building a stronger community through partnerships and meaningful events that bring families together. From kindergarten readiness programs to holiday gift assistance, we create pathways for children to thrive academically and socially.
What We Do
We provide practical, hands‑on support through programs such as:
• Supplying backpacks and school materials to students who need them.
• Collecting and distributing clothing for children, teens, and adults.
• Sharing books and learning materials that encourage reading and education.
• Supporting seasonal gift and holiday assistance efforts for local families.
• Helping host community events that bring families together and build connection.
Growing Our Impact
Our organization is actively expanding its reach by building strong relationships with community partners, local businesses, and supporters. The goal is to deliver consistent, year‑round support to the children and families who need it most and to increase the number of families served each year.
