Ready for Kindergarten: Backpack Initiative

We are  committed to ensuring every child starts kindergarten with confidence and the tools they need to succeed. Through our Ready for Kindergarten initiative, we distributed backpacks filled with basic school supplies to students at two local early learning centers.

Our Partnership:

We partnered with two vital educational institutions serving children in our community:

• Miss Olivia's Rising Stars in Clewiston

• The Children's Garden of Labelle

Our Contribution:

Between these two establishments, Southern Throttle Charities donated approximately 30 backpacks equipped with basic school supplies. Each backpack was thoughtfully prepared to include essential items young students need as they begin their educational journey.

Why This Matters:

Starting kindergarten is a pivotal moment in a child's life. Having the right supplies removes barriers and helps children:

• Feel prepared and confident on their first day

• Participate fully in classroom activities without worrying about missing materials

• Focus on learning rather than lack of resources
