🎒 Back-to-School Event — July 25, 2026

Southern Throttle Charities is preparing to serve 100 children and families in Hendry County for our Back-to-School Giveaway on July 25, 2026. Backpacks are covered and uniforms are being ordered — but we still need your help! Our current priority needs are socks, shoes, and school supplies.

New, unused items are always preferred. However, we also gratefully accept gently used uniforms, jackets, and school supplies in good condition.

Gently Used Uniforms Accepted (Boys & Girls, All Sizes)

Socks — New Preferred, Gently Used Accepted

School Supply Kits — each kit should include:

  • #2 Pencils (box of 12)

  • Crayons (24-count)

  • Colored Pencils

  • Markers

  • Glue Sticks (2 per kit)

  • Scissors

  • Ruler

  • Folders (2–3 per kit)

  • Spiral Notebooks (2 per kit)

  • Composition Notebooks (1 per kit)

  • Pencil Pouch or Box

  • Highlighters

  • Eraser

  • Pencil Sharpener

Gently used supplies in good condition are also welcome!

Donate Money: Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing items for children. Monetary donations accepted via our Give Now page or by contacting us directly.

Become a Sponsor: Businesses and individuals can sponsor the event and receive recognition. Contact us to learn about sponsorship opportunities.

Volunteer: Join our team on event day (July 25, 2026) to help us serve families in Clewiston, FL. Contact us to sign up.
